Shawn Chen
President of the World Federation of United Nations Associations
Chen Xiaochun, male, Chinese American, PhD. Born in Chongqing in 1961, with ancestral roots in Xiangxiang, Hunan. Graduated from Chongqing University in 1982 and immigrated to the United States that year. Obtained a Master's degree in Education from Linfeld University, an MBA from Willamette University and the University of California, Los Angeles, an Honorary Doctorate degree from the American Humanities University, Mountain University of the Philippines, University of Galaz in Romania, and a graduation certificate from the President's Program at Harvard University in the United States. In 1992, Sias Group Company was founded in the United States, which quickly became a business entity with multiple companies in the United States, including steel, computers, hotels, and catering, and several well-known enterprises in China.
The current Board of Directors of the California Institute of Technology Association, Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Asia Pacific University Association, Elected Chairman of the World Federation of University Presidents (2024-2027), Founder and Chairman of Zhengzhou Sias College, and the new Chairman of the World Federation of United Nations Associations. In 2021, participated in the 19th Three Year Summit of the World Federation of University Presidents and was elected as the President of the Federation from 2024 to 2027.
