The family is the smallest unit of society and the tiniest "country"; while the country is a big family formed by thousands upon thousands of families.
"Only when small families are harmonious can the big family be in harmony." IPIC has been striving to integrate this simple concept into every aspect of each activity, hoping to send positive energy to teenagers and families.
Looking back on the past series of activities, one could always see a strong atmosphere of family affection and patriotic education on the spot. For example, by organically integrating family education and patriotic education, many important aspects were elaborated in detail to teenagers and parents, such as "improving family relationships", "One Country, Two Systems", the Basic Law, the national "14th Five-Year Plan", the "Eight Center Initiatives", the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development" and other relevant national policies. This enables every participant to deeply understand the close connection between the destinies of families and the country, sharing weal and woe, thereby enhancing their awareness of the importance of family education as well as their sense of identity and belonging to the country's development.
We firmly believe that the carrying out of each activity is not merely a simple transfer of knowledge, but a process of in-depth integration of emotions and values.
Thankfully, during the process of each activity, the relationships among family members have become closer day by day, and the family cohesion has been continuously strengthened. Through careful listening, active participation and personal practice, teenagers have inherited the fine family traditions and traditional virtues left by their ancestors. More importantly, everyone has a clearer understanding of the value of the family, a deeper comprehension of their national identity, and a more comprehensive and accurate grasp of the national conditions, which has laid a solid foundation for their growth and development.
