On World Intellectual Property Day 2021, IPIC IP Innovation Alliance is in action!

On the afternoon of April 26, 2021, IPIC IP Innovation Alliance and HKIPX Hong Kong Intellectual Property Exchange jointly launched an IP promotion campaign in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong under the theme of "IP and SMEs: Bringing Ideas to Market".

Wu Qitai, member of IPIC Intellectual Property Innovation Alliance, Ling Jialian, Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong Intellectual Property Exchange, and Zhi Guanxian, Director of Innovation and Business Development, participated in the publicity event!

Through hanging banners, distributing promotional materials, providing intellectual property consultation and assistance in intellectual property protection and rights protection, etc., the event allowed the general public to further understand the general situation of intellectual property rights, guided all sectors of society to widely support and participate in intellectual property work, and created a strong intellectual property publicity atmosphere in Hong Kong.

The purpose of this publicity campaign is to help people understand the important role of intellectual property, actively promote the vigorous development of small and medium-sized enterprises, and create an atmosphere for intellectual property business.

"In the campaign, we actively call on more IP institutions to strengthen their support for SMEs, and encourage more people to discuss how SMEs can use IP to transform IP into business opportunities and capture business value," said Wu Qitai, a member of the IPIC IP Innovation Alliance. Every SME has a lot of its own ideas, innovations or high-quality intellectual property, how to combine creativity and wisdom to create products or services that consumers need, how to commercialize, commercialize, monetize, and protect intellectual property rights internationally is also the focus of our work, so this event is of great social significance. ”

SMEs are the backbone of national economies, accounting for about 90 per cent of the world's businesses, employing about 50 per cent of the global workforce, and in many emerging economies, SMEs generate 40 per cent of national income. On April 25, 2021, the Information Office of the State Council held a press conference to once again introduce the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan and accelerate the construction of an intellectual property power. The 2021 edition of IP Day was dedicated to "IP and SMEs: Bringing Ideas to Market". There is a growing emphasis on innovation and intellectual property, both nationally and internationally. Therefore, we at the IPPC IP Professional Alliance are committed to actively promoting the development of intellectual property rights and the international protection and protection of rights.
